We were delighted to work on this eco house project in Dog Lane, Horsford.
We worked alongside PBS – Palmer Building Services on this eco development on the former green belt area of Horsford.
Characterised by its porthole windows, it has a framework constructed out of 6x2 C24 stress grade timber with a 9mm sterling board ply-board 50mm cavity, to allow a cavity for air flow and moisture release.
A vapour barrier was applied to the ply board, battened and cladded in larch.
The roof was made from 9x3 C24 stress-grade timber again, with a steel atrium in the middle.
